Dear Photographers and Friends of the ICP Awards,
With appreciation for a great run, the ICP Awards announces it’s going to take a break from hosting this awards program, at least for the next few years.
Thanks to all for an incredible 2012 season and exhibit at the Burke Museum. The stunning show closed in late November 2012 to great acclaim and appreciation for the talent and commitment of artists in capturing the images and telling the stories that contribute so positively to the conversation about protecting our global landscapes, wildlife and natural resources -- despite the enormity of environmental issues facing our planet.
This website will continue to operate through summer of 2013 so that you can continue to access the amazing selected images from both the 2010 and 2012 seasons. You can also follow the traveling exhibit (now in progress) hosted by the Burke Museum with some of the top images from 2012 by visiting: http://www.burkemuseum.org/info/about Our thanks to The Burke Museum for its outstanding partnership and warm friendship.
For now, we thank ALL of you who have supported the ICP Awards over the years. Our best wishes to photographers of the world in keeping up your important work documenting our natural environment, honing your craft, and shouting loud and proud, through your images, your commitment to increasing awareness about what the world stands to lose if its peoples and governments fail to take action.
